Ok embarrassing admission here but go to http://celebrity-babies.com/ and check out their shopping section. Not a mom here always checks it out for thing that would make good baby gifts. I usually find something that if I WAS a mom I’d like. They might have something that fits the bill.

And lots of the sites are having sales now. Just had to buy 3 baby gifts. Spent $45 instead of $115, works for me.

Yeah I’ve seen those but I want something that is more blanket and less tent. I’m picky!!

It’s not safe because the bunting goes behind the baby in the car seat. In an accident, it can compress, thereby making the straps too loose. (The same is true of puffy snowsuits and jackets.) Details here: http://babyproducts.about.com/od/carseats/a/carseatcoat.htm

I have also heard that it’s so warm babies can overheat.

go to target. they have one that goes over the car seat and zips up and has a hole where the face is – it does not even touch the baby – it is great and worked wonderfully for both my daughters when they were babies!
