New info is learned with each IVF cycle, how you respond to meds, etc. I will tell you what, though, many, many women get pg on their first IVF cycle. I did.

If you don’t already have a support network in this, I highly recommend the iVillage IVF friends, advice and support board. There are a lot of women just beginning IVf there and some who have had a few cycles. They were a great support for me and I have met some life long friends. I have known some for 3-4 years and many of us are meeting in Vegas in the spring.
