All my life, I’ve tended to be cold, until my pregnancy with Gatito. From the time I got pregnant with him until the time I got pregnant again last month, I was practically never cold. Something about my system just re-set and I was comfortable with the temperature (or leaning towards too hot) all the time. Now I seem to have re-set again and I’m freezing most of the time, dammit.

My body runs too hot and too cold. All in the same body at the same time. *sigh*
Last night i was really cold. And really scared. See my blog post – thankfully, no sign of issues. Anyways, I realized when i woke up – the cleaning staff had left my french doors propped open. So, all that night… cold. For no reason.
Glad to see that someone else has the same affliction as I. My body temp was always a couple ticks above normal, so average temps made me feel cold. And after my miscarriage in 2004, I stopped getting cold, only to have it return after my miscarriage in 2005. But now that Lauren is here, it’s all whack again. It’s bizarro what pregnancy hormones do to the body.
My sister had the same experience–not cold after babies. Given where I imagine you to live, not running cold would be an advantage–I hope you get your internal radiator back as soon as medically recommended.
