I hate the word “ass” too! If it’s any help, I had three miscarriages after the birth of my first child, and was depressed and completely ready to give up on having a second child, but the fourth try turned out just fine. Very healthy and I just sent him off to college in September!

I think practitioners need to communicate to their patients that miscarriages in the first trimester are very common…….and now that pregnancy can be determined much earlier, many women go through this angst.

I am thinking of you, and give Gatito lots of kisses! He looks adorable. Better luck next time! All is not lost and my thoughts are with you. Hang in there!
