Reasons that it was a bad idea to engage in an act yesterday that required me to call for a certain prescription:
- I just started a new job today! (Puking is a great way to make a first impression, yes? Would I even be covered under FMLA?)
- I still don’t have the results from my repeat pap. (DUH! How much of an idiot can I be?)
- I haven’t been taking my folic acid regularly over the last 2-3 months, as recommended by my OB. (I am now, though!)
But I’m still excited and hoping it worked. Although not hoping enough to try again to increase our chances. (LH surge was today so we were a little early but not outside the realm of possibility.)
(Oh, and I only had some minor burning afterwards so I’m not sure what to do with my theory about the semen allergy. Once again I am stumped. But hey! If this didn’t work, I know we can try again the natural way– no IUI– in future months and that’s great!)
GAH!
YAY! Or bad girl! Whichever. Congrats on starting the new job.
Wow! Hope it works out, for you AND I.
Hurray for no distress!
I’ll be crossing my fingers for you!
Congrats on the new job (and no you wouldn’t be covered by FMLA. I had this situation happen, feel free to email me to see how I handled it)!
Okay, I know that there’s some real cause for angst here, but this is still funny. I’m glad that you just went for it!
Well, for FMLA you have to be employed for a year.
I wonder…if you don’t do the deed often, could that be why it burns? I mean, things shrink and when stretched again, well…
Also, we did this timed LH surge business a few times and it was a lot of pressure on DH. After a couple times, it wasn’t working if you know what I mean. You may be better off not telling him…but yet in your circumstances, I guess he would know.
oh, and the last time you went skiing or something and got yourself knocked up. Planning any trips?
