I feel the same way, but my job doesn’t allow flex time or part time or alternate work hours. The only good thing about my job is that I get a lot of vacation days and holidays, and I am allowed to work at home up to 28 hours per month if I can document a need to do so (work need – not personal need).

You have a lot going on in your life. It’s nice to share it with others (even though we don’t actually *know* you, for real) who can empathize. I know it helps me a great deal when I post a rant and someone (anyone) posts an understanding comment. So there. With that I say: I understand that sometimes things in life seem dark and gloomy. Seeing your child for less time than you’d like is a valid explaination.
