There is nothing like a little anxiety to wipe out whatever strength and energy you have left. And yet, I am relieved to report that, while in for my ultrasound, the lab reports for the bile acid, the ones that weren’t expected until Friday at the earliest, came back normal. Crisis averted.
Meanwhile, I finally got one of those 4D ultrasounds and I think perhaps the tech is still learning how to use the machine, because the picture of the kid’s face looks decidedly cubist. I mean, I’d love him regardless, but I think life would be more difficult for a baby with a mouth on one side of his face and a cockeyed nose.
I don’t think the 4d ultrasounds are very good at your point in the pregnancy. I think the baby is supposed to be too big to be captured well. But maybe you should just name him Picasso?
Glad to hear that all is well!
Pfew… glad all is well. May it be smoother sailing from here on out.
Glad things turned out well, blood test-wise. As for the 4D, a friend of mine emailed me the picture from hers and I am now convinced her child has one of those floofy sponge dishwashing wands growing out of his forehead. A cubist child is much better than that

Good news. Have you tried swabbing the belly with alcohol to alleviate the itching? Is that verboten? I’m finding much has changed since I was pregnant 13 years ago.
good news! yea!!!!!!!!!
