Galloping Cats

Is anyone else pissed that the second episode of Lost ended with the same exact cliffhanger (Jack saying "You!" to that guy from the stadium down in the hatch) as the first episode?! And that they used stupid tricks like showing the same scene like 5 times from different points of view and wasted all that time on Michael’s and Walt’s back stories, none of which added any new information but just took up time they could have spent advancing the story? Lame.

Also, I can’t believe Vaughn died on Alias (unless maybe he didn’t?). And actually, what I really can’t believe is that he survived even for a minute after being shot with a machine gun at point blank range! Nor can I believe that Jennifer Garner chose Ben Affleck over Michael Vartan. The show has been getting a little silly over the past couple of seasons, but it’s even harder to watch/respect now that Jennifer is with Ben.

Gilmore Girls, my most favoritest of all shows, is also not good this season. One man telling her she won’t be a good reporter means she drops out of school? It makes no sense. And my god, the TJ and Liz characters are so wildly irritating that I cannot watch the show live. I have to TiVo so I can skip over those parts. What were those writers thinking?!

I can’t watch Lost–freaks me out for some reason, but dh loves it.

Alias–WTF! If he comes back to life one more time, I may have to give up on the show.

Oh, don’t get me started on Alias and the death of Vaughn…it made me incredibly upset last night, probably more so than it should!

  3. I am happy to report that although I cried five times yesterday, including once at the “I would marry you all over again” commercial, I shed no tears for Vaughn. I’m tired of him and Jennifer crying about everything all the time. I’m also tired of all of their spy families. I hope their baby is spy-free.

Don’t hate me, but I so hope he doesn’t come back. He annoys me. And if you’re a spy walking around without a bullet proof vest doing spy things and not for reasons of fashion, you DESERVE to get shot at point blank range with a machine gun.

(I liked the backstory on Lost, but then, I’m a family lawyer.)

Oh I was so fired up about Lost!!! I said to my husband that it felt like I was watching a rerun – it was kind of annoying. Aside from the raft stuff, you didn’t really find anything else remotely new out until the last 10 seconds when Michael and Sawyer floated back to the island and saw Jin. So irritating because I so want to know what is going on with the guy in the hatch!!!

I love LOST but was disappointed with all the re-hash. I get so excited watching it that the little boy in utero kicks up a storm. Especially, of course as the shark made its appearance. Egads.

It BETTER be BETTER next week. What else can I do these days but watch t.v. while I wait on the prince’s arrival.

YES! I can’t believe they ended Lost with the same damn spot. And also, I PATIENTLY waited all damn summer long and so far, the total time that the hot Hobbit has appeared onscreen has been four minutes. And two of those minutes he was pondering heroin. NOT FAIR.

As for Alias. I don’t think I can watch it this season. I knew that Vaughn was going to be killed off, although there were TONS of people petitioning that he stay on. There is a chance he will be renewed, and if he does I may come back. All I can say is that Vaughn was a primary reason I watched it in the first place. Michael Vartan is delicious. Jennifer Garner must be daft to choose loser Affleck over him.

TJ and Liz have outstripped Kirk for winner of the Gilligan/Dr. Smith Award. Also, isn’t this the fortieth time on the show that two of the Gilmores aren’t talking to each other? Can’t the writers think of some other way to have a family conflict?
