Galloping Cats

I should have told you that could happen November 16, 2004

So after the D&C I am devastated, but physcially I’m fine. No bleeding, no cramping and by Monday I’m back at work. Till the wee hours on Wednesday when I wake up bloody and in pain. It’s back to Nice Doc cause he told me to call if things went in the wrong direction and, well, you know I don’t like to sit around and wonder and worry.

I should have told you that could happen, Nice Doc says. So no big deal except I wasted two hours and boy was it fun hanging out in the waiting room with all the hugely pregnant women or the thin ones there with husbands who were obviously in the stage I was in only the week before. Have to say that set the recovery back again.

I take the opportunity to try to get Nice Doc to predict the future… Was getting pregnant last time just a fluke or will we be able to repeat the feat? He also says that since i did get pregnant, if it didn’t work the natural way he’d be willing to give IUI a try before going to IVF. Insurance covers that and it doesn’t require drugs so I’m all for that.
